Denmark's first LNG facility is opened
Fjord Line has opened Denmark's first LNG facility in Hirtshals. With this
facility, the company can refuel their two LNG powered cruise ferries both in
Norway and Denmark. The new terminal also represent exciting opportunities for
the Port of Hirtshals.
Liquiline LNG has been responsible for design, construction and project management
of the new terminal. The terminal is supplied with Liquiline proprietary monitoring
system, LiquiSys®. The Fjord Line project represents an important milestone for
our company and our continued commitment to LNG Ship Bunkering Terminals, said
Knut Førland, Managing Director of Liquiline LNG.
